Beeswax wraps, kitchen pack
The properties of the ingredients makes them naturally antifungal, antibacterial and the resin acts as a natural adhesive helping to ensure that the food stays sealed within the wrap. They are easy to use and can be used over and over again. Sealing them just requires the heat of your hands to warm the wax allowing it to stick to itself and mould to whatever is being covered.
Washing them is easy, just wash them in cold water using a little mild detergent and then rinse and hang to dry. When the wax begins to crack or the wraps become less sticky just pop the wrap into the oven on some greaseproof paper to re-pasteurise (90-100 degrees/Gas 2-3 for a minute or two) and they’ll be good to go again. They are also biodegradable so once they have reached the end of their life they can be popped onto the compost heap or used as firelighters.
Please note : As these are a handmade item the sizes listed are approximate. The fabric designs shown are for illustration purposes only. I work with different patterns and colours each time I make a batch of wraps so the patterns and colours you receive are likely to be different to those shown. If you have a particular colour that you are looking for then please let me know in a message and I will do my best to create a bespoke set for you.
